An apparent list of playable Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters has been found in the 'source' of the game's official website. An article (or possibly forum post) author supposedly found the list, although we can't find the post where the character list was first revealed, so this is staying as a rumor for now. Here's the list:

i think this list is false because why would they choose to put tron bonne in the background and also have her fighting.
and seriously roll instead of Capcom's famous megaman. doubt it.

1. He is a Internet Phenomenon
2. Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure series should have atleast 1 character (it is made by capcom)
3. The game was Comic Like so he would fit in perfect

how can you have a list of uneven characters from both sides, 16 marvel chars and 22 capcom...if it were true, and they are uneven because they are making more characters, I doubt they would make a difference in 6, because when they make a game with new sprites and moves etc. they would do a 1/1 ratio in order to not make excess

Well this could simply just be an incomplete list. In fact, I highly doubt that this list is the list of all Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters. Remember, this list "could be completely inaccurate."
