News - 'MAG Beta to be in the US too'

Shijima, MAG's Franchise Producer, had previously stated that MAG, the highly-anticipated, 256-player online game, would only have its Beta in Europe, but thanks to recent comments from a SCEA representative, Shijima's original statement appears to be false.
Here's Shijima's original post on the MAG Beta details:
"Sorry to pee on your proverbials all, but MAG is likely to be tested by the Beta Trial community only in Europe. If plans change then you’ll be made aware of how you can register, but I just don’t want people getting their hopes up unnecessarily."
And most recently, AbigaleSS, a SCEA representative, had this to say about his comment:
"I just wanted to clear up any misunderstandings about Shijima’s post on the European forum. His comments were directed to his community and it is a mistake to think that the Beta will only be comprised of Europeans. We will be releasing more information on the Beta for MAG in the future, but we can confirm that it will include users from North America.
I know some of you already assumed that but I wanted to make sure you had the official word on it."
As of right now, details surrounding MAG's Beta are slim. We'll be sure to post about any new updates on the Beta.
