Since the release of the God of War collection late last year, similar PS2 collections have been proposed and hyped by gamers for release on the PS3. The next collection on the list for release, The Sly Collection (Sly Cooper games), was revealed at E3 and received much praise.
Just yesterday, Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida said that the company would love for more PS2 game collections to be made, but they "are not ready to announce anything yet" (link).
However, just today, a listing on Amazon's French website showed that a collection called The Team Ico Series would be coming to the PS3 (link). So that makes three collections for the PS3 so far, what's next? Here's our top five picks for what should be made into collections next.
Grand Theft Auto Collection
Comprised of: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
The early Grand Theft Auto games on the PS2 can easily be categorized as the best in the series. All three of them took you on a ride through multiple fictional cities and towns as you shoot, steal, and try to survive.

Twisted Metal Collection
Comprised of: Twisted Metal: Black, Twisted Metal: Head-On
The Twisted Metal franchise has long been a PS2 favorite (along with favorites on the PS1 and PSP) and is known for its complete demolition derby-style chaos.

Kingdom Hearts Collection
Comprised of: Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II
The Kingdom Hearts series holds some of the most fun RPG titles to date. The games combine both Final Fantasy and Disney characters into one awesome adventure. Putting the series on the PS3 would bring happiness to many gamers.

Ratchet & Clank Collection
Comprised of: Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal
All three mentioned Ratchet & Clank games include individual adventures that you experience with both Ratchet and his robot buddy Clank. Bringing back the classic adventures would be a wonderful move by Sony.

Metal Gear Solid Collection
Comprised of: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
The Metal Gear Solid games flawlessly throw in quiet stealth into amazingly fun action. Although Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection already exists (and contains Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3), they aren't in HD.

So there you have it, our five picks for collections Sony needs to release next. Here are some others that, if possible, should also be made into their own separate collections.
Silent Hill Collection
Comprised of: Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill 4: The Room, Silent Hill: Origins
Devil May Cry Collection
Comprised of: Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening
Jak and Daxter Collection
Comprised of: Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak 2, Jak 3, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier
Zone of the Enders Collection
Comprised of: Zone of the Enders, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner
What do you guys think? Post in the comment section below what you think should be made into the next PS2 collection for the PS3.
