Throughout the rest of this year and into next year, the PS3 has a handful of games heading its way. Some better graphics than others, some more anticipated than others, and some that are already considered console hits. Check out the list below for our top five upcoming games (in no particular order) that will be making appearances on the PS3.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Back from his journey in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Drake is headed back into the adventure world with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Mainly in search for a mysterious artifact, he will also join in on the search to find the legendary Himalayan valley of Shambhala. This sequel to the 2007 hit will bring both online play and a longer campaign mode. An updated physics and graphics system will also be venturing its way to the PS3 when the game releases.

Gran Turismo 5
As a game of one of the most popular racing series in video game history, Gran Turismo 5 is ought to become a hit. When released next year, the highly-anticipated title will drive in with over 950 cars, 20 locations (with a total of 70 variations), a new physics system featuring damage effects that the majority of us have been waiting for, and much, much more. Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, the game's so-called demo, proved to be amazing so the full game should pass with easy A's.

God of War 3
From its start on the PS2, the titles featured in the God of War series are quite possibly the most well-known action games to date. With the third game in the group arriving to our PS3's next year, Kratos might just take the gold medal again. This time he will be fighting for revenge against the gods who have betrayed him. Utilizing the PS3's power and a brand new engine built from the ground up, God of War 3 should easily be able to deliver an experience like no other.

Massive Action Game
Better known as MAG, the game brings you into the Shadow War in which three major factions are fighting over territory. Before beginning to play the actual game you will be prompted to pick one of these factions which include Valor, SVER, and Raven. The title also brings you a new, innovative game mode which handles a massive 256 players all at once. With officers in command, platoon leaders, and squad leaders, MAG will without a doubt revolve around teamwork - not to mention it's developed by Zipper, the Socom franchise creators.

Final Fantasy 13
As the 13th game in the series, Final Fantasy has made it an extremely long way - along with the countless "side" titles featured on other systems. The RPG will take you on an adventure through the Cocoon city-world and the outer-world of Pulse. With hours upon hours of pure gameplay already confirmed and a new Action Time Battle system, the game surely looks to improve upon its predecessors. You might also want to remember that the title is being developed by the infamous Square Enix whom have created some of the most memorable RPGs to date.

So there you have it folks! If you own a PS3 and aren't exactly sure what games are hyped up to be good, buy at least one or two of the ones listed above for an almost guarenteed good time. Now that I have listed our top five upcoming games, what are your top five?
